One might ask, “Why does RivCoDA have a blog?”

The means of communication are evolving, and government agencies are often left behind the curve. Technologies advance and communication trends change, and we do not want to be left behind. The days of written newspaper articles are almost extinct. The press no longer has the resources and staff they used to have to be proactive in reporting public safety articles.

Our blog will be true stories -- our stories -- straight from us to you. We value informing and communicating with our community members. The blog is one way we can share our mission, criminal case updates, critical information, and services. We hope our stories will be a new way to build connections within our community.
