RIVERSIDE – District Attorney Mike Hestrin announced today, Feb. 22, 2019, that David and Louise Turpin entered guilty pleas this morning in the case involving the abuse of their children.
AT ILLEGALLY OPERATING DISPENSARY IN THOUSAND PALMS
THOUSAND PALMS – The DA’s countywide Cannabis Regulation Task Force served a search warrant at an illegally operating cannabis dispensary called “Flight Club” in the unincorporated area of Thousand Palms.
MURRIETA – A Temecula man pled guilty today, Feb. 14, 2019, to intentionally starting the Cranston Fire in the Idyllwild/Mountain Center area last July.
DUI CRASH THAT KILLED A 15-YEAR-OLD GIRL
MURRIETA – In March 2016, a van driven by a man under the influence of methamphetamine slammed head-on at an estimated 60 mph into a utility pole across from the Murrieta Police Station. The crash killed his then-girlfriend’s 15-year-old daughter and seriously injured her 10-year-old sister.
FOR VIOLATING CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS
RIVERSIDE – Riverside County District Attorney Mike Hestrin announced today, February 4, 2019, that a judge has ordered GameStop Inc., a Texas-based video game and consumer electronics company, to pay $500,000 in civil penalties and costs for violations of consumer protection laws.
