RIVERSIDE COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE FORENSIC ACCOUNTANT NAMED TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA FRAUD INVESTIGATORS BOARD

RIVERSIDE – The Riverside County District Attorney's Office is pleased to announce the appointment of Forensic Accountant David Wall to the Southern California Fraud Investigators Association (SCFIA) board of directors.
Wall has been in the Special Prosecutions Region at the DA’s Office for five years, assigned to both the Financial Crime Unit and Public Protection Unit. With more than 35 years of experience in law, accounting, and fraud examination, Wall’s professional background uniquely positions him to contribute to SCFIA's mission of combatting fraud through education, training, and collaboration.
"David Wall's diverse skill set and deep understanding of legal, accounting, and fraud examination principles make him an invaluable addition to the SCFIA Board," said John George, president of SCFIA. "We are thrilled to welcome him to our team."
In his role on the SCFIA Board, Wall will collaborate with fellow board members to develop strategies, initiatives, and resources aimed at enhancing fraud investigation and prosecution practices across Southern California.
"I am honored to join the SCFIA Board and contribute to the constant struggle against insurance fraud and other forms of financial crime in Southern California," said Wall.
Wall's appointment to the SCFIA Board further strengthens the organization's commitment to excellence in the fight against fraud.
SCFIA recently announced its upcoming Anti-Fraud Conference, scheduled to take place from November 18-20, 2024, in Palm Springs. The conference will feature keynote speaker Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco. This event will provide a unique opportunity for professionals to gain insights into the latest trends and techniques in fraud detection and prevention.
