Riverside County DA’s Office Investigative Technician Arrested for Sexual Battery

RIVERSIDE – On Aug. 20, 2025, the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office received a complaint with allegations of sexual assault involving a non-sworn employee with the office.

A preliminary internal investigation was immediately initiated. During the process, an employee was identified as a suspect. To ensure a fair, thorough, and impartial investigation, the Bureau of Investigation requested an independent criminal investigation by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Special Victims Unit (SVU). This investigation resulted in the arrest of an investigative technician.

Jaiquin D. Moore, DOB: 8-6-73, was arrested today, by the SVU investigators. Moore has been arrested on suspicion of one count of felony sexual battery and has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of both criminal and administrative proceedings.

“Our office is committed to transparency, accountability, and above all the safety of our community,” said Bureau Chief Investigator Natasha Crawford. “We take every allegation of misconduct seriously and will continue to fully cooperate with the investigation. Holding all individuals accountable for violations of the law is essential to protecting our community and maintaining the public’s trust.”
