Soboba Tribal TaANF

Members of the Crime Prevention Unit (CPU) were invited to host a table at the Soboba Tribal TANF Program’s annual Family Resource Fair. Youth Specialist Graciela Martinez from our partners at Safe Family Justice Centers, Victim Services Supervisor Lauren Valles, Senior Victim Services Specialist Julio Perez, and K9 Dinah were there to spread awareness of all the wonderful work being done by the CPU and to share resources. It is the goal of the Soboba Tribal TANF Program to provide their families with community resources that will help guide them along their path to success and to encourage youth to pursue higher education.

Community outreach is essential for our office to build trust, foster meaningful connections with the Riverside County community, and educate residents about our role in the local criminal justice system.

This commitment was recently demonstrated when members of our Crime Prevention and Tribal Units teamed up to attend a career fair at Sherman Indian High School, where they spoke with students about our work and the many career paths within our office. This kind of outreach not only raises awareness but also helps inspire the next generation to consider careers that contribute to justice and community well-being.
